A Space to Show Up as Your Authentic Self

I believe therapy works best when clients feel a strong sense of trust and safety, allowing them to show up as their authentic selves. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment — a space where you can explore your experiences, process emotions, and find deeper meaning in your life.

Reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, and I strive to make the process collaborative, respectful, and empowering. Together, we work to better understand your experiences while building tools that support your well-being and personal growth here at Centered Mind Counseling Services (CMCS).

How We’ll Work Together

As someone who is neurodivergent, I understand firsthand how challenging it can be to navigate systems and expectations that may not always feel designed for the way your mind works. This perspective deeply informs my work with clients.

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and affirming. I specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and have a strong focus on supporting neurodivergent individuals. I am passionate about helping clients develop a deeper understanding of how their brains and life experiences shape their identities.

Rather than approaching therapy from a “fixing” perspective, I focus on recognizing strengths, honoring neurodiversity, and helping clients build skills to navigate emotions, sensory experiences, relationships, and life’s challenges. I aim to create a therapeutic environment that is inclusive, neurodiversity-affirming, and culturally responsive.

Beginning therapy can feel overwhelming, and my intention is to make the process feel welcoming and grounded from the very first session. I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative, where we work together to identify your goals and create meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.

The Benefit of Having a Full Team Behind You

One of the things I value about working at Centered Mind Counseling Services is that integrated care is available to you if and when you need it. You might start with therapy alone, add psychiatric support later, or work with both at once. If your needs change and you want to add another layer of care, that option is already here. Our providers communicate directly with one another, so you never have to coordinate it yourself or repeat your story from scratch.

My training as a certified Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) adds something many therapists cannot: the ability to support mental health and substance use recovery together, in one place, rather than asking you to split your story between providers. When it helps, I coordinate with our psychiatric providers and counselors, so your care holds together as a whole.

Whether you are coming to me first or adding therapy to existing care, our team makes that process simple. Learn more about our counseling services or meet the full CMCS team I work alongside.
