Psychiatric Services & Medication Management
When You Need More Than Psychotherapy…
Our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners Support You in Getting Relief from Mental Health Symptoms
We provide psychiatric services and medication management for anxiety, depression and Other mental health conditions for adults, children, and adolescents in Washington State
If you’re coping with a serious mental health condition, you know how discouraging it is when you can’t get relief.
You may have tried therapy, nutritional changes, or other alternative treatments.
They may have helped…or at least for a while.
But your symptoms persist.
And, you still struggle far too much.
You’re disheartened.
You worry you may never have a life that feels good, where you can enjoy your life without constant fear, anxiety or depression.
You may feel so hopeless at times that you don’t know where to turn.
We treat children and adults of all ages who struggle with mental health issues, including:
- Depression – it’s hard to get out of bed sometimes. There’s a darkness that is with you sometimes day in and day out.
- Anxiety – you worry about the past, the present, and the future. The thought of leaving the house may bring on a panic attack. You may have been diagnosed with general anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), or social anxiety disorder
- Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) – you’ve been traumatized as a child or as an adult, and you can’t seem to get over it.
- Bipolar Disorder – your mood swings from extremely low to extremely high at times. You might have suicidal thoughts.
- ADD/ADHD – you or your child may be hyperactive, have trouble focusing, or can’t seem to get anything done.
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) – you’ve tried other interventions but find it just isn’t enough. We partner with you, and provide compassionate treatment for ASD throughout the lifespan.
We partner with you to help improve your mental health by creating a personalized therapy and medication plan.
Our psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners are highly trained and experienced.
We’re honest, supportive, and caring. We provide a safe environment for you to share your concerns in a judgment-free zone. We’ve heard it all. There isn’t anything you can say or do that will surprise us.
We provide evidence-based, client-centered, holistic care. We’ll take the time to explain your condition, its causes, and possible treatments. We hold the utmost respect for you and consider your wishes in the treatment plan.
We incorporate the principles articulated by Jean Watson’s Theory of Caring, which includes loving-kindness, helping you believe in yourself, encouraging a wholeness of mind, body, and spirit, and being open to unexplained healings.
We also embrace Dorothea Orem’s Self Care Deficit Theory, which postulates that you are a distinct individual with the right to be self-reliant and responsible for your own care.
Orem’s theory also encourages education that helps facilitate your ability to practice positive health care behaviors.
With your patience and persistence, we can help you get relief from your symptoms.
Imagine having more peace of mind, clarity, and direction.
Imagine having more satisfying relationships, more energy, and more joy in your life.
