Doing What I Love While Making a Difference
I’m Schevon “Schevy” Pierre, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and I provide compassionate, holistic, Mental Health care services for adults, and seniors, that addresses their psychosocial, psychological, and emotional needs. I have been in the healthcare field for over 14 years, with a background in Cardiology and Psychiatry. I started my career working with clients who suffer with Mental Health disorders, moved to Cardiology, and eventually, back to Psychiatry. I have worked with clients who suffer with a wide range of Mental Health Disorders, including Memory Disorders, Depressive and Anxiety Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, and ADHD, in the inpatient and outpatient settings.
I love being a PMHNP, as I get wo do what I love, while making a difference in the lives of others. I get to work with clients to determine a course of action to address their needs, and help them realize those goals.
I fully believe that there is a solution for every difficult situation we may face- it just takes work to find it sometimes, and finding solutions; that is my passion.
On a personal note
I was born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago, a twin island Republic in the Caribbean, that is world-renowned for its multi-cultural heritage, Carnival, its music, and its varied cuisine. When I’m not at work, I can often be found fishing, gardening, cooking, or reading a book.
My friends will tell you that my most frequent phrase is: “No worries”. It is a part of my personal outlook, as I fully believe that there is a solution for every difficult situation we may face- it just takes work to find it sometimes, and finding solutions; that is my passion. I am honored to join the group at Centered Mind Counseling Services to provide care to the citizens of Washington State, and I look forward to meeting you soon… and please, call me “Schevy” (like a truck).
