The Heart of My Work
From a young age, I came to understand the importance of sensitivity and empathy. Over time, I learned that they are both profound strengths — allowing me to deeply understand others, to put myself in their shoes, and to notice the unspoken emotions and experiences that shape people’s lives. This ability to connect on a deeper level is what ultimately led me to the field of psychology and continues to guide my work in the therapy room today.
My Approach to Counseling
My counseling areas of focus include anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, neurodivergence, adjustment to life transitions, health-related stressors, and relationship concerns. These are areas where I’ve witnessed, both personally and professionally, how powerful it can be to have a safe, compassionate space to process challenges.
I strive to create an environment for clients that fosters sensitivity, nurtures resilience, and makes growth possible.
What I find most rewarding about therapy is seeing people begin to view themselves differently: not as broken, but as resourceful, resilient, and capable of change. For me, therapy is about more than easing symptoms; it’s about helping people reconnect with their strengths, deepen self-understanding, and move toward a life that feels balanced and meaningful.
My Training & Background — Compassionate, Evidence-Based Therapy for Adults in Washington State
I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) and completed my pre-doctoral residency at Providence Medical Group, working in a primary care clinic with clients across the lifespan. Prior to that, I worked in a variety of clinical settings, including a community mental health center in downtown Los Angeles, a college counseling center, an eating disorder recovery clinic, and an inpatient psychiatric facility. These diverse experiences gave me the opportunity to support individuals navigating a wide range of challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic health conditions, grief, relationship difficulties, eating disorders, and major life transitions.
My training emphasizes evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) while maintaining a strong focus on the human connection at the center of healing. I meet clients where they are, honor their stories, and tailor support to fit their goals. Collaboration is key—I actively invite client feedback to ensure therapy remains meaningful and aligned with what matters most to each person.

In My Free Time
Growing up in the Pacific Northwest fostered my love for the outdoors. Whether skiing, hiking, biking, camping, or exploring new trails, I find that being outside keeps me grounded and inspired. Movement and creativity are central to my life. I trained as a ballerina and still value self-expression through movement. When I’m not outdoors or active, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my partner, family, and friends.
