Providing an Open and Accepting Space for You
Whether working together in person, or remotely, I provide collaborative, evidence-based, trauma-informed psychiatric services.
I love getting to know my clients and their stories; everyone has unique strengths to draw upon in treatment.
My office is an open and accepting environment, and I really enjoy getting to know my clients and helping support their mental health needs.
Who I see . . .
For the past ten years I have provided psychiatric services to clients of all ages. I have additional training and specialization in child, adolescent, and young adult psychiatric care, as well as LGBTQIA+ care.
In addition to medication management services, I provide brief therapeutic interventions to support ongoing psychotherapy at Centered Mind Counseling or elsewhere. I am trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing.
I treat a variety of mental health disorders, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and psychotic disorders. I treat ages 7 & up (6 & up for ADHD). Other areas of focus include women’s mental health, trans mental health, and immigrant and refugee care.
Education
I have a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Washington, with an additional fellowship in adolescent care (LEAH program.) I received my nursing degree from the University of Virginia, and have a bachelors in biology from Carleton College in Minnesota.

On a Personal Note . . .
I love learning new things, be it formal psychiatric training or crocheting amigurumi. When I am not working, I enjoy reading everything I can get my hands on and tending to my three high-maintenance dogs.
I look forward to meeting you!
